Does the language you speak shape your personality?

Well, it all came about when I noticed that I'm saying and expressing my self in English far easier, mainly in situations that could otherwise, in hebrew, be quite freitening and embarassing. Lets give a specific example at first, lets say i have a moment as we like to call it with a special someone, and at that moment there are feelings of love and closeness related to the entire situtation. Though, speaking a expressing my feelings in Hebrew is usually not the case, and i could potentially say, directly. 'i love you' instead of using the hebrew term.

This thought made me realize that something could be hiding underneath it, perhaps a clue to some of the questions i have beind dealing with, regarding the unique world each of us possess, and this could be a stepstone in that direction. Well, lets start by contemplating what it would be like to have, lets say, 100 words in every possible language, and those words would mean the exact same things for each language, which is in its own a uniqe assumption to hold. I believe this is not possible, because we all know and can have a specific word for bottle, but we understand emotions and feelings quite differently around the world. dont we? if we were to keep hot in the cold, or as part of our religion we gather around in giant formations, we have a different grasp of that emotion.

Well, I think I should start for the most basic assumption and start my way upwards.

  1. Language is a way to differentiate the beings in the world in such a manner that they can be perceived individually. The beings are either from within yourself, which we call (emotions), or they are 'outside' and are referred to as (things). very broad distinction, the terms are only used here, that why the (). For example, think of a laptop, having a keyboard and a mouthpad, both can be precieved seperatly, though we dont distinct them in the laptop and proceed to perceive them as a whole. without words we would perceive things outside us, but without the ability to differentiate between them.

1.1 (things) - if we generally think of everything that lays outside of our mind, meaning that it is generally the case that all can see it, thats things. though, things arent percieved independently of us, which means that the world itself may even be a bit more distorted than that.

I went a bit far off here.

Does the state of having words for (emotions) make them real? make you differentiate between them?

does the question - can i be angry, or very angry, is even approvable in this context? how can i infer that im one level angrier than before?
